The bengal tiger is the apex predator in the djungle of India. The efforts of protecting this species for many years paid off. The numbers of wild tigers in India is increasing again and so are the numbers of other species as well. Watching these majestic animals in the wild is truly something special. When visiting the Bandipur Tiger Reserve in May and June 2024 we were blessed by several sightings of the bengal tiger. For more wildlife of India click here.
