Wild India

The main goal on my two trips to India was to see and capture the endangered bengal tiger! The tiger is the largest predator cat on the planet. Due to habitat loss and poaching there are only 3000-5000 tigers left in the world. The largest remaining numbers of tigers can be found in India with 70% of the worlds wild tiger population! I was fortunate to have several tiger encounters as well as a glimpse of an indian leopard and the sloth bear. Also quite crowded, Ranthambhore National Park is a perfect spot to look for this precious wild cat!
