Urban wildlife. Since there are so many green parks within the city of my hometown Munich, i decided to explore them a little bit more than i used to. And i was surprised how much wildlife lives right in the city. There are foxes, roe deer, beavers, hares, rabbits, raptors, waterfowl and a lot more to explore. One of my most favorite parks is the Nymphenburger Schlosspark. There are many meadows, small forests as well as creeks and ponds. The park is famous for its tawny owls and i see them frequently. This one early morning i was delighted with some roe deer bucks with their antlers still in velvet and their fur is still the greyish winter coat. I spent quite some time with them in the forests of this park. Can’t wait to explore more…for more german wildlife click here.
