One of my goals for this years wildlife encounter was photographing a chamois in winterly conditions. While i missed the opportunity to do it in the first winter months of the year i finally got my shot just in the last days of december 2018. I was going with a guide who was very knowledgeable about all the nature and wildlife in the german alps. After hiking through snowy scenic landscapes for a while, we found a couple chamois on mountain ridges and foraging on grass beneath the snow.
