Spending 5 days in eastern Germany in the quest to find wild wolves was an exciting experience. I only had a very brief encounter with a wolf and that was no photo opportunity. Besides that i saw many red deer, roe deer, birds and some foxes. This red fox vixen was hunting on a field and caught several mice. While she was hunting she was so focused on her prey that she didn’t recognize me. After collecting her prey she went back to her den and was surprised to see me. So this turned out to be a nice shot of a running mama fox with mice in her mouth. More wildlife of Germany you can find here.
