Coastal wolfes
It was a long dream for me to photograph wild wolves. I had several attempts but all unsuccesful. But this spring in 2026 i started another adevnture. With a local guide and a small group we explored the rugged and untamed coast of the Pacific Northwest. The weather conditions were quite challenging and we had tons of rain and heavy wind every day. We didn’t see a single wolf or even tracks for the first days and it was pretty frustrating, i must admit. We had to wait until the very last day when out of nowhere the wolf pack showed up. Even better, after the pack disappeared in the forest a single wolf apperaed and was patrolling the shoreline in front of me for almost half an hour. I got frame filling pictures of wild wolves i never could have dreamt of. It was one of the most exhausting trips i ever did but also one of the most rewarding.Â
